Questions:
Ch 6
What is Cluny's reaction to the death of somee of his followers in the cart crash? What value does he put on life?

Ch 7
What is "large happenings for a small mouse"?

what do you think it means when the Abbot thinks "young Matthias has hidden depths"

Ch 8
Do you think Cluny's dream was an omen?

1 comment:

  1. 1. Cluny called, "Tell the Devil Cluny sent you!" and laughs when The rat that goaded the horse on died. I think that Cluny puts little stock in other lives when he wants something.

    2. Large happenings are the big things like the grayling and the cart, while a Matthias is a small, young mouse. I think that Abbot meant that Matthias had the appearance and countenance of a young novice, but deep within he wanted to fight, to defend, to vanquish enemies just like his hero Martin the warrior.

    3. Not really, just a figment of his imagination.
