1. Ch. 5 Sela the vixen comes to treat Cluny for his wounds. She thinks she tricks Cluny, but really he is just pretending to believe everything. Sela calls for her son Chickenhound to deliver a message to Redwall that she wanted to give information about Cluny's attack to them. Ch. 6 Cornflower runs about, delivering food to everyone. Matthias and Methuselah descend the steps under the hall. They find the tomb of Martin and they retrieve his sword belt and shield. Ch. 7 Chickenhound tries to dupe Constance, and Constance dupes Chickenhound. Matthias and Methuselah take a break, and Matthias has fun with his friends. Then Mathias and Methuselah, with the help of Constance, find the searching device to find Martin's sword. Ch. 8 Chickenhound returns to Sela and Cluny places a trap for Sela. He leaves a fake battle plan under his pillow and Sela takes it to Redwall. 2. "Constance and Ambrose Spike were huge eaters, but they were amateurs compared to Basil Stag Hare" "Bouncing up and down with delight, Silent Sam cut a comical figure as he fenced his way across the tabletop, thrusting and parrying at cruets and candlesticks with his new "sword", and sucking furiously on his free paw" "Nod's as good as a wink to old bachelor Basil, y'know" I like these quotes because they make me laugh.
